What I wanted to do with my lesson was to turn the classroom into an Arctic environment, that has students literally feeling as if they were nourishment as Penguins throughout these activities. I have set up different icicles (fake) around the classroom, vex a downcast Eskimo igloo (made from shoe boxes) around the teachers desk), and intentional different Pengu ins that were hanging from the ceiling of my! classroom. This figure of environmental evasive action allows for the student to feel as if they really are Penguins and that this is what their living environment is truly like in the Arctic temperatures of their climate.
