Frederick Douglass was born into thrall in the 1800s and was determined to escape it so he could express his voice and beliefs freely. Douglass was born into slavery. He had a rough barbarian hood with his mothers death and constant relocating. He was hard worker and was determined to be free. When he was 12-years-old he was relocated to Maryland where he met Sophia, an intelligent white wo cosmospower.
