Jane Eyre 4 In the story of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, Mr. Broklehurst becomes a bouncy controversial character that Jane encounters early in the story. Mr. Broklehurst, a sooner annoying clergyman, feels that he has a specific goal.
